From Writing to Visuals: A Framework for Scientific Figure Design
Most scientists have been taught to write but rarely to communicate visually. This workshop introduces a practical framework that connects the process skills scientists already use in writing to the decisions behind effective scientific figures. The session opens with a short lecture introducing the framework, followed by an interactive workshop where participants apply revision and feedback principles to real figures as a group. Participants are encouraged to bring a figure in any stage of development; prepared examples will also be used.
