2026 CERMACS CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
The organizing team for the 2026 American Chemical Society Central Region Meeting requests nominations for the following awards:
ACS Division of Chemical Education Central Region Award for Excellence in High School Teaching
This award recognizes a high school educator who has demonstrated exceptional dedication and effectiveness in chemical education.
E. Ann Nalley Regional Award for Volunteer Service to the American Chemical Society
This award honors individuals who have made significant volunteer contributions to the American Chemical Society, advancing its objectives through regional activities.
Stanley C. Israel Regional Award for Advancing Diversity in the Chemical Sciences
This award recognizes individuals and/or institutions who have advanced inclusion and belonging in the chemical sciences and significantly stimulated or fostered activities that promote inclusiveness within the region.
Regional Industrial Innovation Award
This award celebrates individuals or teams who have demonstrated outstanding innovation in the chemical industry.
Nominations and letters of recommendation for these awards are due by July 1. Awards will be presented during the CERMACS meeting in November 15-27, 2026. Nominations forms and more detailed information can be found at the 2026 CERMACS website.
