Women in Science Innovator Breakfast

The Women in Science Innovators Breakfast at ACS CERM 2026, which is a networking and professional development event , is aimed to increase engagement of women scientists across various career stages. The program is designed to bring together undergraduate and graduate students, early-career professionals, and mid- to late-career professionals from sectors of academia, industry, and government in a setting that encourages meaningful dialogue and connection.

The event will feature short spotlight presentations from women scientists highlighting their innovative research, leadership experiences, and career pathways, followed by facilitated small-group discussions and post-program networking. This aims at promoting active participation and engagement, as well as the opportunity to foster mentorship and collaboration.

The program focuses on the visibility of women’s contributions within science and creating opportunities for participants to share experiences and ideas. Overall, the breakfast will elevate the recognition of women scientists’ achievements and provide the opportunity to strengthen community connections by creating an inclusive, empowering environment that highlights impactful work and inspires continued innovation within the chemical sciences.
